Career shift is quite a common among many but to my little survey majority of the professionals who try, are bit sceptical at first but with a background of experience and savings in place, few land up in their new career profile and if it is not entrepreneurship, the ones who try, majorly succeed.

I was sceptical too but after talking to so many people who have done it, I decided to give it a shot, initially at my early career stage and again repeated the same by plunging into entrepreneurship. The process takes a lot of patience and perseverance but the payoff can be tremendous. So yes, I would recommend everyone who has even half-a-brain to at least TRY this technique...even if you are already rich and successful. Let me be to the point.

To summarize what I have written so far: Sell yourself short, don't sell your product or service, but rather sell your results! To reiterate, we are all striving to be on track but nevertheless missing out that we are just a product for the organizations we work and like any product life cycle, once we stop delivering results, chances of replacements is imperative.

To achieve results on a regular basis, you need to be aware of yourself the most. What is happening, what is changing, what may affect you and even if it affects, are you in a position to bounce back? After certain age, the major concern for individuals lie in unlearning things and come out from the so-called comfort zone, but this all can be tackled if you are aware of your personality, interest types, motivational factors and of course your EQ score which helps you to balance and make you work with any and all.

It's time to analyse yourself and figure out what you are missing and what you can do that suits you the best. I am talking about your Career Management.
